So to solve this issue, i used the Fallout Mod Manager mod which allows you to open files like Skyrim/Data/Skyrim - Meshes and Skyrim/Data/Skyrim - Textures. esp, it doesn't assign the files to the right spots.
So what i did with this mod ( you do need something like WinRAR or 7zip ) is i downloaded TWO of the non-vanilla helmet replacer files ( both will contain identical textures) which really only contains the standard Legion Armor textures and meshes but even with the.
